lengthing a throttle cable

hey,
i need to lengthen or make a throttle cable to suit a ca18, any one got any ideas? what have other people done when it comes to diffrent engines?

i used a ca18 one to run my 20v, you just have to elongate the holes where it bolts onto the firewall. also stock ke70 one bolts up to 20v perfect. ae86 one was to short for anything!! apparantly ke20 one works a ze

get a longer cable from something and shorten it http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif my stock JDM 4AGE 86 cable has seen me through 3 totally different engines.. stock - GZE with o/s 3SGE throttle body, and now with 20V quads.. never even cut it or anything.. it's all in the brackets http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif the 86>4AGE one was actually a few inches too long, but rather than cut it.. i just clapmed the end at the pedal in a different possition.. i'll keep the extra few inches.. a few inches in length always come in handy http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif
