Guys, I was having a chat to one of the distributors today and he stated that unlike most cheap turbos these DO have balanced shafts.
However maybe you should ring them and ask yourself. Then possibly take a close look at one and see if you agree.

I would rather spend my money on a good quality garett over KKR.

Everyone's an expert aren't they?
Perhaps you can tell me where Garrett turbos are manufactured? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif I bet you'll say Japan or something like every other numb-nut who knows nothing.
As I said to Hen on the weekend, it comes down to quality control, not the country is manufactured in. Garrett's manufacturing plants are in China and Malaysia http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif So I guess they must not be balanced and will suffer from "massive shaft failure" - sounds like a discussion on impotence.
KKR turbos come with a 6 month replacement warranty, Garrett come with 3 months. Bit silly if we wanted to actually make any money to put an industry-leading warranty on an inferior product, wouldn't you say?
Unfortunately there have been some real dogs in the turbo scene recently, but whereas most of them will literally shit themselves after one or two power runs on the dyno, we've had not one bearing, shaft or wheel failure to date.
We all run them on our own cars which we have poured tens of thousands of dollars into - I think this fact also makes a good point.
Oh, one more thing - the KKR 330 out-performed a Garrett GT28RS on the dyno, quite convincingly too.
Food for thought... And next time you want to know something, ask the distributor who actually might know a thing or two about the product. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif
Cheers,
Jeremy.

Thanks for the insight mate, its the sortta shit we wanna know when buying a turb, but funnily enough its not widely available, except from the mouth of a saleman (no offence intended).
OT, I saw a Garret copy from china cast with a "Carrot" name http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Information like this is widely available from the retailers of the product in question. Asking for opinions on a product from people who have had no experience with it whatsoever is never a good idea. Of course information is available from the people who are selling the product - that's basically their job!
Click on the banner ad and you'll be taken directly to our site. Even easier, click on the link at the top of the thread. There's all the contact details you need in there, including a phone number.
Cheers,
Jeremy.

You are a forum sponsor and we trust your opinion.
I dont think many retailers/resellers would tell you their product was crap.

Of course not.
Anyway, I think I made a few points earlier that speak louder than any sales pitch. As Dom also mentioned, I use one on my CA. With GTR 440cc injectors, Z32 AFM and 16 psi, it makes 206kW (276hp) at the wheels. It also makes that boost level at 3000rpm.
We're getting a 300hp model in our next shipment which I think is going to be an absolute winner on 4AGZEs, so keep an eye out!

Are the 300hp turbos here?
