My car has always had a very steady idle until one night after a "very spirited" drive. It used to idle dot on 900rpm (read from both rsm and 5in tacho) and auto choke at about 1,400rpm. But now it always idles between 1,600- 1,100rpm. Also also i gave it another thrash the other day it sat at 2,200rpm when i finished. The engine is a 4agze. I'v already checked the throttle and its returning fine to idle position but stil revving. I havent been able to find the 'auto-choke' yet so dose anyone no where it is? also i havent adjusted the timing.
