Pretty sure like most other cars. There'll be one or two tensioners under the car. Located between the diff and gearbox area where the handbrake cable splits into two. Easy to find once your under there.

Just went and had a look at mine, mine's ADM, but that shouldn't change anything. I found my handbrake cable just beside the tailshaft, probly 30-40cm to the front of the diff. I didn't really look how it could be adjusted though.
Plus I can't actually properly get under there. Car sits too low, otherwise I could probably find it, but last time I actually saw tensioners on any car, was when the car was on a hoist http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

there should be a section under brakes on how to adjust it.

Option 1.
buy and replace your old streched out handbrake cables. The 2 that go from your diff to handbrake cable. You can order through Toyota. Or get your local cable workshop to make up.
Option 2. frabricate a small metal tube spacer on your handbrake adjustment.

Shite! so many opinions!
Rip out your center console.
Under the handbrake (IN CABIN) theres a nut with a cable and thread.
Adjust it from there.
If its still to loose, go to a 'older' parts and acc shop and ask for a handbrake shortner where the purpose is to use a bracket and nut to shorten the cable..

As you can see the cable is shortened by the bolt being adjusted..

I am pretty sure there are adjusters at the bottom of the cables just on top of the tailshaft (its been a long time since I looked at them)

^ Don't worry pumpkinking, 'all that' isn't huge or anything and it's go anywhere on the cable, if it's between your handbrake and your diff it'll work.

the problem you may find is that noi matter how much or where from you ajust them, your hand brake in your JDM disc rear end may never work properly untill you service the caliper. you really need to take them apart and clean them.
