hey ive been having debates about what the round grille thing is on the dash opposite the cigarette lighter
does it just cover up a hole or does the jdm model have sumthing that goes there ? is it an air vent ? or air freshener, or just another cool place to hide drugs?

I think it is where the annoying "ding ding" chime comes from once you hit 105km/h on the JDM 86s....

ah, if its the chime.. neer mind, i was going to suggest that perhaps for the left hand drive vehicles, to save on manufacture they produced the same centres, and just moved the cigarette lighter over, but never mind http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif

107km/h i think it is.. but it looks soo close to 105km/h it's all good.. the JDM dash has the output for it.. the ADM doesn't.. if you look closely to your jdm dash as you exceed 107km/h it will paus and move for just a split second.. if you have a JDM 86 you'll know what i mean http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

Aust versions its a blanking plate, Jap versions its a chimer, and yes its 107kmph... f'n ripped mine out of my Silvia..
