hey boys and girls just need some advice on redoing my suspension properly.
at the moment she is running

Front
- coilover converted front dont know how much if any the struts were cut as it was done before i got the car. 200lb kings springs and unknown shocks.
-sigmas
-25mm GAB swaybar
-cusco camber tops
-strut brace

Rear
-Black trd springs
-trd blue 8 way adj shocks which are pissin oil
-stock swaybar
-rear brace

and the car has 6 pt cage

plans are to go to 7kg springs in the front but i dont know what shocks ie i dont wanto pay 700 for blistiens
and go hilux or suzuki shocks in the rear and take a coil or 2 out of the rear springs and see how that goes.
oh and a set of rca's wen i get around to makin em at work.
car will be used for daily and drift. so basically i need some advice on the whole package im planing and specifically front shocks.

cheers adam

get some kyb agx from T3 or AJPS. mr2 sw20 fitment.

i think youll find the suzuki shox a little soft for your springs. again, agz from either of these suppliers should fit your bill, not to expensive, and they work.

i wouldnt go so hard in the front either. try 6kg first and go from there, especially seeing as you already have a bigger sway bar in the front.

and get the rcas done asap, if your car is lowered any decent amount youll need them.

I am using KYB AGX's to suit a ST205 GT4 celica, 60m shorter than standard

also isnt 7kg way too hard to handle on the street? have you driven a car on the road for more than 30min with such a hard setup?

i have. yes its too hard in my oppinion. i think it is a better idea to increse your roll stiffness with sway bars. people need to realise that theres no point mirroring the set ups of D1/N1 cars if you dont run the tyres to match.

for the front... i use those king springs coilover conversion things also.. mine are 250lbs at the moment..

for 6kg/mm works out to be 338lbs/in
for 7 kg/mm is 395lbs/in..

Its ok here in SE Qld because we have the best roads, in my hachi in sydney was hell and its not even a great setup.
