Hey,
I've got some aftermarket seats that I'm going to be putting in my car but I'll be making up my own rails. I've been told from a mate who did this that you practically have to destroy your front seats to get the rails off and fit them onto another seat. I was wondering if seats from another (cheaper parts wise) car will fit so I can wreck up a more worthless seat and keep my standard seats for if I need them later on.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks guys, I might just do some measuring and find something near enough that I can make work. Well off to the wreckers....

i pulled my rais off my seat last night.
it all un bolts. however the back and bottom parts of the seat arnt held together.. hence becoming too cushions.
i think i might need to chop my rials up to get on my bucket properly.

jdm 86 seats are a good compromise....shit tins better than adm stockers. They do a decent job of keeping me in the seat and are pretty comfy for a daily
obviously buckets are the go if you do more than just commute
there was a for sale thread a few weeks ago...someone selling aw11 seats to bolt into a sprinter. From memory ive also seen celica seats fit as well. But like most things a little bit of massaging is required
