Safe RPM for 1G-GZE supercharger

I am trying to work out a safe redline for the 1G-GZE supercharger that I am setting up on my 100kw 4A-GE.

My plan is to stick with the standard 10.5:1 comp ratio and run about 6-7 psi over the top. I am in the process of mounting and sussing out the drive mechanism at the moment.

I was wondering if any one would know what sort of maximum RPM that toyota recomend for the charger??

I pritty much want the charger to be at max rpm when the engine is at redline (8500 is what the hard redline will be tuned to in the LT10S)

I am getting custom pullys machined up so I can drive the charger at whatever speed I like.

AFAIK 10,000rpm on the blower pulley is about as far as you want to go.
You can use more but they don't last as long, and less revs they last longer, etc. But 10,000 should be fine.

Nah, I've run 6psi on an engine with 11:1 comp and pump fuel before. It lasted for 40 000km before it finaly died. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif

As long as the tune is legit (ie no detonation/pinging) it will be fine. Plus the high comp will mean it will produce a little more low/mid range that a low static comp engine.

yeah i wouldnt run more than 6psi ..... still walking on thin ice but
