where ever it fits depending on your loom lenght/where it comes through the firewall.

factory its usually behind the passenger side kick panel.

heat on the ecu is sometimes not a great thing http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/rolleyes.gif .. so i avoided the anywhere near the firewall at all costs.. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif

I extended the loom by 1- 2 feet and mounted it under the front passenger seat on a small block of wood to void any heat from the exhaust passing under the floor. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

Ryguy, I think that's taking it to extremes. In the cabin near/on the firewall should be fine. Just as long as it isn't right by your turbo/extractors.

In any case, passenger kick panel or behind the passenger side speaker are convenient.
