Sorry for the noob question.
Regarding the fitting of the starion master cylinder, is it safe just to use a gasket?

Your brakes could one day save you life mate!
Try to replace it as it will only be like $5.00 for a gasket and $5000.00 for a coffin http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/fap.gif Try to replace the o rings to. Brakes are sooooooooo important and the less crashed 86 the better i say http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

You don't need that gromett as it is only to contain the brake fluid leaks if the secondary cup on the secondary piston inside you mastercylinder leaks externaly. If your cylider is in good order it should'nt leak. The worst that can happen if you leave it off and your m/c leaks is that you will have brake fluid leaking onto your booster. Use a paper gasket if you are worried but rest assured it won't be at all dangerous despite what my less learnerd colleagues say. Cheers
