Strut brace would fit....
The width between the strut tops are different...
And as far as Im aware all the bushes in that kit you'll be able to use....
Just did my KE and I think from memory the only difference is the rear sway bar D bushes are different.. But they have a different diff to an 86

what do you mean the gap between the strut tops are different?does this mean i'll have to mod them a bit ?

If you bolt the brackets for you strut brace on then the bar that runs between them won't reach... thinks that a KE/ae71 bay is about 30mm wider...

I thought they would be the same as well..
But went to put my mates spare brace on and it don't fit...

ADM AE86 and E7 run different strut tops. The inside of the three studs holding it in place is about 5mm out between them. So the ends of an AE86 brace may not suit the E7 studs. Easy to redrill though.

Also I've heard it rumoured that JDM AE86 strut tops are the same as E7, so maybe a jap strut brace will fit.

Ummm. That does not make any seance. The strut tops will still be in the same position.

Adjustable is the go.

isnt the jdm 86 (4age) strut top high castor where the adm 86 4ac is the low castor version? so the ae71/ke70 is the same deisgn as the jdm strut top, so its the highcastor version or wat eva

anyways iv put one of those ajps ae86 strut brace into a ae71 with no probs

Oh yeah, valid point... I confused myself. The three studs will be in the same position on all 86s and E7s. However the strut can have high or low castor.

The studs only cause a problem if you're trying to switch strut tops from side to side to get more castor out of your low castor strut tops.
