fork out for pads, the disc brakes aren't famous for there handbraking capabilities.

Yeah I've heard that several times.
looks to be the only way though huh ?
Even with the pads are the handbrake capabilities anywhere near that of the drums ?

works for the D1 guy's!! drums will always be a more effective handbrake than disc's.

i've never had/used a disc brake rear end so unfortunately i can't give you any advice! someone on here would be using a disc rear and drifting.

I use a disk rear and it works fine. Quite often its not the breaks thats the problem, but your technique. Drums will lock up easier in a straight line, but if you add a little flick of weight shift at the right moment, it will make all the difference.

Yeah I sussed that part out but I don't always want to have to rely on the flick also ...know what I mean .
does anyone use the prodject mu pads ? ?
any feedback ?

I have used Mu pads on the rear, D1 spec or whatever theyre called. Bite niceley, but are a bit squealey for the first couple of months. I would buy them again.

how does the drum rear hold on the track???? cause i know disc are better for track due to it can be ventilated. ???

drums are a more effective braking system initially, however they progressively store more heat and fade quicker. whereas discs disperse heat quicker so perform more consistently.
