mine had no sway bars an pulled a 3.7 out of it centre was factory, you can get a ra40 centre to bolt in with 4.1 for max. $100 from wreckers. Its hard enough finding t18s, let alone holding out for a 4.1

get the ra40 automatic centre its got a higher ratio then the manual one

can some one please include a index of sorts of diff ratio's? as in, what kind of ratio will favour top speed and which one would favour acceleration... Beause i get very confused lol. Also, what ratio is a stock S series out of a ADM sprinter?

Stock ADM s-series is 3.9

Lower the number higher the top speed.

So a 4.1 center would accel a little better and be more responsive then a 3.7

t18 - 3.7 and 3.9
ra40, ta22 - 4.1

check the build plate to confirm

so ra40 or ta22 ring and pinion gears hey, the hunt begins.
is this true about the auto having a higher ratio?

I wouldn't swap the pinion and crown wheels into another housing when you dont neeed to. The ra40 diff bolts straight into the axle housing except one bolt will be missing but just gasset the hole. I would image the auto would have higher ratio.

no i already have a t18 with a trd 2 way in it but want a higher ratio,
will the ra40 and ta22 ring and pinion gears bolt into the t18 housing?

Yes the TA22 gearset will fit into the T18 Housing. I am currently running a T18 rear end with 4.11 gearset and 2 way lsd.
