usually abit of oil in the compressor is ok, but not too much it could be just abit of grit/carbon etc. what you should be worried about is the exhaust side, is there any oil around the exhaust wheel? if so it is a high chance that you have blown your seals.

having oil in the compressor side can mean several things.

do you have crankcase breather connected on the inlet? thats probably what it would be. crankcase gasses going into the inlet and through the turbo. not a huge issue. heaps of cars are designed that way from factory.

the other thing could be a seal, but you would notice blue smoke when on boost and using oil.

yes it has a crankcase breather to the turbo and thats most likely the source as the oil was very minimal.

generally black build up on the rear wheel means its running rich

get it on a dyno to check the afrs
