I was wondering what four stud rims are out there because i wont to buy a set for my machine. So if you have a photo of your rims can you please post them up so i can get the gist of what they look like on a hachi. Also if you can please tell us what the name of the wheels and how much there're worth.
thanks

Only just got these, they are Advan ONI three piece. thinking of selling them if I get a good offer, if not I will be quite happy to keep them on the car as I think they look great. They still have the Toyo Proxes RA1's that they came with, kinda sus in the wet on the street, lol. Great fun up the local mountain pass though http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

ma61 supra wheels, these 1's have been professionally restored and polished so they cost me a lil but for a full set of near new expect to pay around 500 but u can pick em up for less depending on condition....but the offset is good and they look good so a good cheap alternative to some jap wheels out there

Wasn't this emant to be a therad about rims you actually own?
If it were rims you wish you owned I'd have a list as long as the page.
Cherry blossoms at the top.
I was under the impression that they were originally made in 15's, not jstu 14's, but alot more common in 14's.
I would give a testicle for a full set.

These are pic's of my rims, they are SSR MK3's.
I imported them second hand from japan. They cost about $1500 with out tyres. I was searching for a while to find these because they are some times hard to come by in japan especially in 15 inch. They Measure like this. Fronts 15x6.5 and Rears 15x7. The the rears where originally gold but i had them painted silver to match the front becuase it makes the rims look bigger. You can buy these brand new becuase Speed Star Racing have started production again but they are very expensive. I got a price from Mu's secret on a set of 15 x 8's and they quoted me about $3600 with out tyres.

To the dude with mark 3's.... No offence man, but I think you got ripped off. yes theya re cool, yes they aer hard to find, but $1500 :s I'd rather spend $1500 on something that makes it drift! Each to their own i suppose.

more grip = more speed.
just most 86 drivers dont have the power to turn them.
LordNafe
4th September 2006, 11:19 PM
I'd rather more grip up front. I know you can go faster, but as you said, most 86's dont have the power to turn wide rims. If i had 7.5's and 8's, the 8's would be front, 7.5 rear. My wider rims are up the front now. And wide rims with camber look hot http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

but if u had a set of 7.5"s or 8"s u wouldnt run them on the back?

ae86 slide
5th September 2006, 06:43 PM
well in my case it really doesnt matter as both sets of rims are waring 195's so the actual amount of tread on the road is the same,
to be honest on my car it was easier to flare the fronts to fit the 8's than flaring the rears to fit them. that was the only reason to have them on the front.
