Hi, quick question...does anyone know the stud pattern on a oz-spec ae86 Sprinter?

I'm looking for rims and don't know whether to look for 4x100 or 4x114.3

cheers

Just on the topic of wheels quickly, what's the thickest mags you can throw on the front with 0 offset without them scrubbing on lock or something? Thanks...

Hmmm, fair enough. I suppose any modification to the hub, as well as the steering rack, will modify that too. So you can't really do $@^# about wheels until you've fully sorted out suspension...

HYPNTK - these are things you might want to consider when looking for wheels. Unfortunatly when you're tuning suspension, it impacts a lot on what you can do with wheels.

7.5 inch on the front if you go slightly pos on the offset

and on the rear 8.5 should be perfect with no rubbing (offset dependent)

Kewl, thanks Truenosedan. I presume that 8.5 is assuming that with the correct offset, the mounting surface of the wheel is dead on centre of the wheel arch. Is that far out from 0 offset, do you know? Personally, I'm considering 8's on the back, and 7's on the front, with the primary goal of the car to be drifting: would this be detrimental or would it suit quite nicely?

basically you go as far in board as you can, and then go out to the guard

something in an 8.5 + 15-20 offset should be about close

i havent done it myself so im not 100%

Yokohama's explaination (http://www.yokohamatire.com/utcustom.asp)

The little diagram down the bottom (a cross section of a wheel) is probably the simplest diagram I've ever seen to explain it. The number given to an offset is a measurement in millimetres. Take a look. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif
