Are the inlets and outlets on the right side?
also does it sit at the right height or does it need to be on a slight lean for the bonnet to close..?
cheers...

haven't fitted it yet, i'll do it when i swap engines. apparantly you have to put it on a bit of a lean. i will be removing the mounting tabs and refitting them lower so the radiator doesn't sit higher than the radiator support.

yeh ca18det ones arent really that thick, but if u can fit a ca18 rad then u must be able to fit a rb20 radiator (same dimensions only thicker).
thanks

sounds like its worth investigating...... wondering if the mounts line up like the CA rad though.......?

think the inlets and out lets are wrong too, my track history with the nissan product proves me to be an unreliable source of information though.......

the rb20 radiator is too tall (ie. taller than the ca18 radiator)
outlets are on the same side though

I had an N12 ET Turbo pulsar radiator on my 4AGE TA22 celica. Everything was perfect except 2 holes were like 2cm off so I drilled some new holes for them.

i had a ca18det radiator, it was only single core and i think if you want it to sit nice you have to modify the bonnet so it will close properly! and it wasnt the best for cooling i had a single craig davis 14inch thermo.
then i went serching on the lookout for another better fitting radiator...
answer is st162 celica radiator, i guarintee you will not find another better suited.
i picked it up for $120 from my local wreckers with twin thermos. it is also twin core. it works a treat perfect size too. all you need to do is make new brackets... or get a packet of cable ties.

Cable ties ftw!
I think Lawson (truenosedan) did a write up on putting the st162 rad in his ae71 in the Member's Rides section, might be worth a look.

i know its a bad thing puting excel parts in your car but the excel one does the trick, fits straight in, bottom hose goes straight on and the top hose u have to get is off an n13 pulsar...so that goes straight on too...just have to mount it...and yes....cable ties do the trick...just get the heat resistant ones not the $2 variety from supa cheep

I am pretty sure any 90s model excel, some came with a copper one which you dont want. Also of note the air con version had two thermofans instead of one.
When you mount it make it a low as possible, having the lower house touch against the bottom castor rod brace is good.
