well my tacho is being a spaz its sort of doing what the speedos do how they skip a lil bit any ideas anyone??

noise in the wire?? Check and clean connections at both ends! Also check for dry solder at any soldered connections! if you put in the cable yourself check that it isn't running near any high voltage cables!

Also consult the how much i paid for it Vs how well it works graph!!

What motor is it off?

points or electronic dizzy?

I know with my KE70 points dizzy, The tacho used to jump around when the points were down and needed replacing..

GZE with a dizzy it has only recently started happening so i might have to check the joints i recentley cleaned the rotor button and pooints as well
