Hey all,
I suspect my current vl turbo external fuel pump is on the way out due to some recently leaning out. Not sure whether to invest in the same again or try something else. I dont hear much about <400 hp ones so just seeing wot u guys are running.

go bosch 910.
just put one in brother-in-laws VL turbo. the vl is pretty much standard. just changed it because the stock vl turbo pump died.

how much power you got?
the 910 flow more than a VL turbo one too.
they are cheap enough to, think i paid $140 for it off ebay.

A strong breeze has more power, but im guessing bout 120 poss 130hp.
Im looking for something quality so the bosch sounds good.

Let me rephrase that.

" Im running 2 pumps.. a Bosch 450hp, and a VL turbo pump

I just had a check And found a place that sells Bosch 910 copies for $85
Just a heads up. "

for the extra $50 i would get genuine.
i am running similar setup as you. vl turbo low pressure in tank pump. into vl turbo high pressure external pump.
i will get a 910 pump soon. they are a bit bigger in size.
910 pump is 450hp. that must be what you have??

I think i got a 954.. Ill have to look next time im at the car.
if it costs $50 more for a genuine then i would back that too.
I mean i havnt heard a problem with the copies, but you cnat go wrong with a genuine.

910 is the go mate, there are getting dirt cheap now (Like 150 odd)

and you dont need to buy fittings for them, as they arent threadeded, they have nipples for the hoses ready to go...

and ur now flowing a gazillion hp, so you dont need an 044
