ok,

so u've decided to try to help me! cheers! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif

the story goes...
i entered a corner and and clutch kicked alot later than usual and a bit more forcful because of it. After doing this i was unable to select a gear. and clutch pedal felt/ was higer than normal. it wasnt until rolling downhill in neutral didnt help anymore (ie faced with an uphill challenge lol). I pulled over and decided to ring for a bit of help and a tow. until i relised i could select a gear when the engine wasnt running??

so i limped home, when i got home i relised i couldnt select reverse. so i though my clutch could be screwed but i had only put a heavy duty one in about a month http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/rant.gif .

but today i was trying to mov it in the drive and i was able to select reverse?? so i decided to take it for a test drive round the block and i was able to change gears ect.?? the clutch pedal is still sitting higher.

so i know there has been some clutch abuse, which im ok with i can adjust the pedal easy. also the car is still ** 4AC powered **

but what is / could be the underlying problem? my dad thought it could have been apart of the clutch mechanical side of things?

NOTE: new master and slave cylinders ahve been replaced recently and r both working in good condition?

at first i thought your clutch slave rod might have poped out of place or could be your selectors in box

a few thing could have happened..

collapsed pressure plate.. or a few fingers are bent, and not disengaging properly.. as well as you have kinda melted your clutch..

sounds like the most likley scenario
