well fellas i STILL havent got the damned ke70 on the road

i thought i would start a new thread, as i have made some progross

its 4kc motor, and it will not idle at all

ive got a 3kc carby on there, someone sudgested it to me a while back,

the engine runs fine at high revs, but as soon as you take foot off accelerator it just dies, like you turned it off with the key...i have not been able to test it under load (ie take for drive) cause i dont wanna get straneded anywhere

i have done

new coil, adjusted points, and proved ignitino system is working etc

ive hooked up all the vacume lines exact same as they were on the 3k carby donor car. and all lines appear to be in working order.

this is really starting to bug me now, please help

reason i changed to 3k carbie, was that the guy before me had butched all the emission's gear on the other carby, so i didnt have a clue what went where, and no it wasnt running well, but since then ive done the points, coil, and basically proved that everythign else should be good to go (perfect compression test results, good spark) so it has to be carby

since my last post, i have found that a mixture screw is missing from the carby, buit i had a spare one, so tomorow im gonna try and "tune" the carby http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif (this is not gonna end well)

any tips on tuning this beast?
