4age -> ae86 questions

its going in saturday and i got a few questions:

stupid one first, fuel lines on motor....fuel rail, which is inlet/outlet etc etc and i still use that canister ?
where can i buy 16v extractors ? (ive got stock manifold but its 4->2 only, and i think getting the 2->1 bit made will be more costly that extractors...)
whats the best/cheapest...mainly cheapest exhaust mob in adel. and what u guys recommending i use....size wise ?

inlet is bigger (8mm) and at the front of the rail (throttle body end) return is the other (6mm) one at the rear of the rail.

don't know about the canister, you mean carcoal canister? 4AC or 4AGE one?

Kaizen Garage do extractors, pm slydar on these forums. probably wouldn't be cheaper than getting the 2 - 1 section made. these ar TRD replica's though so there are some gains to be had, even though most are aesthetic!!

i'm in brissy so you are on your own regarding the exhaust..

just went threw the same thing with the extractors. I needed the 2-1 bit. I got the 2 into one bit off a ae82 twincam from a recker thinkin it would be cheap to get it a little moded it so it would fit.
The cheapest exhaust place wanted $160 to make it fit.

So for a little bit more you can have nice lookin extractors. I ditched the standard and got my extractors from kaizen like gilly said.

Yes you need to keep the charcoal canister. Don't worry it won't affect any performance or anything. Inlet is at the front of the motor, outlet at the back (on the fuel rail obviously)

At end of the rail there is a regulator, (fuel pressure regualtor, based on manifold vacumm), which has a small inlet for a manifold hose. That goes to the back of the motor. At the other (timing belt end) there is no provisions for a small hose.
