I HAVE PLUGED IN ALL THE PLUGS ON MY AE82 4AGE ENGINE AND JDM MANIFOLD. THE ENGINE RUNS ONLY ON AEROSTART HAVENT LOOKED INTO Y THE INJECTORS ARNT WORKING BUT I FOUND 2 SPARE PLUGS THAT REACH TO BEHIND THE PLENUM CHAMBER, LOOKS LIKE THEY MAY GO 2 SUMMIN ON THE FIREWALL, ON THE WIRING LOOM AND WONDERED IF THERE IS SPOSE TO BE AN INJECTOR MODULE OR SUMMIN? GOT A YELLOW CIRCULAR PLUG WITH 3 PINS AND A BROWN RECTANGLE 2 PIN PLUG.?

look on club4AG for the wiring pinouts and trace the wire colours.

Yes, almost certainly the yellow is the MAP sensor. The brown will be the start injector time switch which is mounted in the sensor block on the very rear of the cylinder head. The one that has the two sensors. The other sensor on this block has a green plug

adm ae82 have 2 brown plugs, 1 is mounted at the rear of the block (as above) and the other is to the rear water housing for fwd

pictorial answer for you my friend.

yellow plug is for the map sensor as you now know, pic shows where the brown plug goes (like Parrot says)

picture is of my JDM loom so should be the same as what you have.

you can use an AE82 map sensor you will just have to change plugs, as only JDM MAP sensor use the circle plug. if need be i know someone who has a few JDM Map sensors if you want a JDM one drop me a pm and i'll suss it out for you.

the maps are the same plug, picked one up from recker off a twinky and it plugged in

Bigport map sensors are identical, other than the bracket that bolts them to the body. If you use an AE82 sensor you simply need to make a right angle bracket to bolt it where it is meant to go on an AE86. Plug is identical

hmm my engine apparantly had an ae82 map sensor as it was running a ae82 loom in a Ke70. i have a JDM loom and had to get a JDM map sensor as the plugs were different

AE86 on the left, AE82 on the right.

The brown plug at the bottom right is for the cold start injector time switch. If it doesn't look like that, you will have to put a pic up. Yes there is an injector main power wire but that doesn't have a plug in it.

What colour is the cold start injector plug meant to be???

Is it possible you have accidently swapped the cold start with a injector plug.

I bet a pic would have this solved in seconds.

my cold start injector plug (JDM LOOM) is black

parrot

The cold start injector plug is black, but the cold start injector plug is not the same as the cold start injector time switch sensor plug (which is brown as per the photo above)!

Cold start injector is situated in the main body of the plenum.

The cold start injector time switch sensor (i.e. the thing that signals to the ECU how hot the engine is and thus how long the cold start injector stays on for is located on that sensor block on the back of the head.
