It works out cheaper to get a vented MA60 front end then a set of JDM calipars. Just get the bottom spring hat changed or a custom spring, or spend the $$$ and get coilovers made.

The only thing that's gay is that people charge a dickload for a lame brake upgrade. going for ADM to JDM rotors does nothing to improve stopping power, it just helps stop fade. Lets add it up
Lame JDM calipers $200
Fresh JDM rotors $200 - $300
New brake pads $70-100
We're talking in excess of $500 here to not increase stopping power!
Isn't a JDM caliper without slides just the same as an ADM caliper? Aren't they what dictate the the width that the caliper can fit over?

you have many valid points...but ma60 struts really arent suited to an ae86...
edit, whoops i meant ra60!

the ra60 and ma60 struts are similar...
the reason why SOME people dont like them is because they have a different geometry and give more of a + camber but with longer lca's and adj tops it can be fixed...

For anyone in brissy who want to use MA60 struts I can put you in contact with a bloke with strut straightener/alignment machine. He can give you whatever negative camber you want from any strut, as long as you have enough wheel offset / evil spacers to clear the strut tube.
You can make anything fit anything, you just need to know what you're doing http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif

light car, big brakes not necessary
i would take stock adm brakes over ra60 junk anyday
but if you can make it work, sweet
