'Champs look ace on silvias...better on old school toyota though!

Silvia owners muist love buying drift rims from 86 blokes, the offsets would work in their favour lol.

fuck yeah I love sprintang wheels (with the smaller hachi size tyres) on S13s, looks so fat.

Heres a pic of my 180 with my hachi wheels on it, the exhaust would randomly scrape the ground when driving http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

Agreed! Old school hachi style 15's look sexy on s13's http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/happy.gif
Andy had a pair of xr4's on the abck of his old 180 years ago http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif
If I ever get another s13 I'll be wanting hot 15's on it http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

yeah i got them for my sprinter but it has stock suspension at the moment and the fronts needed a wheel aligment so i took them off. i didnt wanna stuff up the new G3's on them. so they have been sittin out back and the silvia wheels are on belts on a couple of places.

4drs1seat they are 15 by 7/ -1 front and 15 by 7.5/ +5 rear

on the front it needs a spacer i think its 8mm slip on to clear the caliper rears are sweet.

might have to lower the coilovers on it me thinks http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif (its got the outback pack on it atm)

the car also looks high cause they are 50 profiles while the standard 15's have 60 on them

i bought a pair of nicely dished reverse mesh off a mate with a cefiro...fuck it looked good i reckon, but he thought otherwise...ohwell, his loss my gain ! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

do the fronts sit inside the guards or outside -1 is fairly low offset for s13, but only 7 inch wide so might be perfect.

hilux08
8th January 2007, 03:02 PM
yeah would be pretty good but with the spacer needed it sits like 2-3 cm outside at the front

i'd be very interested to see what they look like with 60 profile tyres, it might make the rims seem smaller.

A mate of mine used to have some decent width decent offset (not exactly sure on details though) meshies on a sil, looked cool http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif It had 205/50 RE01's http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/happy.gif Looked cool, needed to be lowered though with the small tyres.
I'll try and find a pic of Andy's 180.

I think this concept has been missed by the Australian car modifier of the first 'modern' looking jap sports cars in the mid/late 80's. The look of old school style wheels (read: small and deep) and bolt on flares from the era before (late 70's/early 80's) looks awsome IMO. Its like the crossover style between old school and new school jap cars throughout the 80's which brought the change to boxier styling that looks awsome with the old school mods still in place. I cant believe more people havent caught on to it here in Australia. I guess its a less extreme style of Bosozoku in a way. If anyone from Adelaide has seen the black RB20 S13, it has this exact style and looks like its come straight from japan, in other words it looks hawt as! Ill try and find pics..What do others think?

PS, Windy Point FTW

If I ever sell the hachi and buy another silvia, it will be white, no bodykit (maybe nismo front bar) with low offset 15's, maybe flares like that and dropped on it's nuts http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/happy.gif
