I'm ordering a new Whiteline adjustable panhard rod, I'm also ordering some replacement Super Pro suspension bushes but I am not sure what bushes come with the panhard rod and dont want to end up with 2 sets of bushes.

Does anybody know what bushes the Whiteline panhard rod comes with?

already comes with nolatahnae bushes in it as do their swaybars. if the component requires bushings or uses them in its application whiteline supply them with the product, like a kit form really.

Cheers Gilly, I thought so but wanted to make sure.

The Super Pro catalog lists these bushing parts:

- Panhard rod bush
- Panhard rod to Chassis mount
- Panhard rod to diff

Do all these come with the sway bar?

you have to adjust them by removing one end off the either the diff or panhard mount. most aftermarket JDM ones are on car adjustable, most use rose joints too. for the price though plus the fact its a "set and forget" system whiteline is alright, as in you adjust it once and your done its not something that requires frequent adjustments.

they suck for the following reasons:

- soft rubber bushings at both ends
- they are bent
- they suck to adjust
- can only adjust on one side

jsut save an extra bit of cash and get rose jointed ones

and panhard rods are gay, watts linkage is the way

ohh and whiteline sway bars are shit aswell

Whiteline products work quite well. if you compare prices with brand new JDM brand gear they are well priced and do the job well.
They arne't rubber bushings, they a nolathene, so alot harder than rubber... Not as god as rose joints, no, but lots better than OEM normal rubber.....

they suck for the following reasons:

- soft rubber bushings at both ends[/b]

..we just confirmed they come with decent bushings.

- they are bent[/b]

...and this is bad because? From what Ive heard it helps clear the exhaust when the car is lowered? Why should this cause an issue?

- they suck to adjust[/b]

Why? Coz you need to undo one bolt to adjust it? I dont plan on needing to constantly adjust it - as mentioned, get it right once and thats it.

- can only adjust on one side[/b]

Its bar - why would I need to adjust both sides? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif You only need to add length to one side to make the whole thing longer!?

jsut save an extra bit of cash and get rose jointed ones

and panhard rods are gay, watts linkage is the way[/b]

..a little extra!? Try 3 times the price of the Whiteline one!! Yes we all know watts linkage is the way to go but we dont all own fabrication shops or have race team budgets!

ohh and whiteline sway bars are shit aswell[/b]

Been using them on my WRX for Circuit sprints for the last 4 years, they've worked fine for me with class championship placings all year http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

Thanks for those that gave me useable information http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

yea whiteline is alright for the price, some jdm stuff iv seen where something like $800 for the adj pan hard rod and adj upper/lower trailing arms! (but has rosejoints) price was from autosalon...

whiteline adj trailing arms are something like $200ish for the upper OR lower arms and $110ish for the adj pan hardrod. also $220 for RCA's.

i ended up buying some jdm trailing arms (upper&lower) ones on auction for $300, and a cusco adj pan hard rod for $140, $140 for some jdm rca's.

as for the swaybars i find my front tyre rubs on the whiteline swaybar when lowered

To make it simple
bends = weakness

and the bend moves it closer to the exhaust http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif

Your at the track, you adjust, you ride height, u need to adjust your panhard rod... pain in the ass to adjust

think if it was adjustable at both sides it wouldnt be a pain....

T3 = 120US proably around 200aus shipped to austrlia $70 more
Battleversion = around the same as t3
Even tune agent makes better ones, email them for price

these are all rose jointed, double sided adjustable, stright bar panhard rods..... http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/ohmy.gif

the mounts flex on the diff, there not really much stiffer, the mounts to the chassis and shit flex...

did u try using anything else in ur wrx, how did ur times compare with and without the swaybars????

Thanks for those that gave me useable information[/b]

I have to agree ^^^, i have one and dont have any probs at all, but if you want to be a fully sick "suspension tech"/ drifter down at the track you might wanna listen to jdmcoupe. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/dry.gif

^^^^ its got nothing to do with that... its just u need to way up ur options, whiteline will work, but for $50-100 more you can get something alot better

but its up to you

when i compared the cusco to the whiteline i found that the bend avoids the exhaust where as the cusco would scrub the exhaust, but then again i guess the jdm type ones are made for under diff exhausts n shit

If your whitleine product is closer to the exhaust then you have it on upside down.

Bend is in the whiteline to clear the rear of the diff center due to the extra thickness, and help avoid exhaust

Bend is weak is total rubbish. Ask EVAN how his whitelin panhard rod was after hitting the wall on Oran Park straight doing 140. Even the bush's were still good.

Car-0 Panhard-1

Nothing wrong with Whiteline products.

..sorry mate I was probably a bit harsh, but your first post gave me no useable info besides your 'opinion', opinions on this forum are like arseholes - everyone has one! Your last post had some good 'useable' info, thats all I was after http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

2 words SICK c**t!

everything you know has been told to you by someone else, form your own opinions

actually ok maybe you did have a whiteline rod, but still not everyone is a hard core racer http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/crazy.gif y0

dont preach your rehashed knowledge as gospel

i agree with you to some degree, but acting like an internet suspension master just leads you to look like and ass and similar to your man lover JHS

how come everything you like is the way to go remeber the "you have to get a yager built 7a, he is the god of those motors"
