Im putting in a fuel pump for 4age ke70, do i need the regulator lookin thing on the pump? Its a vl pump.

did you get that from the wreckers? looks dirty as, i would sudgest goin to get one from holden, your better off starting with a brand new fuel pump, you dunno what condition that thing is in.
as for the regulator, nah you dont need it, there is a regualator on the fuel rail. (4age that is)

That fuel pump works fine, it was tested right in front of me, it spat fuel all over me.
Do you know if i can have it mounted in cabin?

i wouldnt recommond mounting a fuel pump in a location that can reach you, or the engine bay.
you dont need the regulator thing it should be on your fuel rail of the 16v
keep the mount thing as it can come in handy, i just cut off the mounting part of it, kept the rubber casing and the clamp around it and stuck it between the brace that holds your fuel tank up. Becomes quite convienent.

I say use as much or the original mount as possible because it does a good job of insulating the noise.
