Now, Ive searched toy mods and this forum and haven't dug up any thing short of useless on Google,
i was wondering how hard it was to convert from an analog to a digital cluster?
would dash modifications need to be undertaken? (a link would be helpful)
when looking at GTAPEX's I have failed to see the Extra "luxury" option's that were available at that time.
i was reading that the GTAPEX was available with a digital dash and power window's ive never seen one in stock form with these, are they that rare?
thanks and regards

There are some threads around with the information but from what I remember If you dont have the sender for the fuel gauge with the digi dash then it does make the conversion alot harder. cant really remember much as but it though

The GT APEX came fairly loaded with most stuff. The digital dash was standard, with the normal gauges being a option. But with the later series the normal gauges were standard, and the digital dash was still avaliable as a option.
As far as I know there is no GT APEX in all of tassie. In fact proably not even a GTV, so very rare here.

You didnt look to hard if you couldnt find anything on analogue to digital cluster changed, been posted many time. And yes im too lazy to find it.
You will need address a few things when doing the conversion/swap.
1) Sendors, all the factory analogue sendors wont work on the digi cluster, that means water temp, oil pressure, fuel.
2) If your runnign a 4ag then its hardish to find the speed sensor for the ecu.
All in all, unless your pretty good with electronics then i wouldnt bother.
I have a simple diagram for both analogue and digital clusters if youwant it, drop me a email and ill get it too you. It wont get everything working but 80% of it will.
