b4 anyone says do a search, i have. only how do install sorts of threads come up
my question is are they worth while on a 4age, im looking into getting cams and obviously will need some form of a/m ecu or piggy back
for the same price will i find somthing better? does the 500 rpm increment tuning too much of a gap in revs?
pros and cons of afc compared other piggy back systems?
any extra info that i should know about?
i have been looking around for a budget management and have found these to be reasonably priced
cheers,
stefan

From my past experience and knowledge.. piggy back stuff in generally only good on ecus that are remapable anyway.. IE NISSAN crap.. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

get yourself a local complete aftermarket ECU that will do everything that your APEXI will do but for half the cost.

an safc only costs $150 ish....
Adaptronic would be better, but much change from $1500 after dyno?
me thinks not.
i know of a 4age that had adj. cams and a safc2 put in it.
after the safc a whole 7rwkw. top end increase.
solved some under and over fueling issues though.
i was thinking of running a neo on my 4agze.

i knew the nissan fan boys were getting good figures from them, so i thought it might be worth while. but i guess at the end of the day power costs heaps of money and it really needs to be done right. thought it might be worth a try but for 7kw odd increase in power its not worth spend $1000

7rwkw is like a 10% increase in power in most 4age applications,
if u had cams and shit then u could do better, but keep in mind 7rwkw's is heaps for a engine that puts out factory 86-96fwkw's

haha glad u put it that way leo, never thought of it. i guess if i got the cams grinded to 252 degrees (stock being 242) then 7kw gain isnt all that bad. how does the stock ecu like mild cams?
