hey guys,
i was wondering where i can buy new s13 silvia lower control arms?? and im in sydney looking to buy new ones. i dont want second and ones becuase some of them have rooted bushes, and cbf changing them and would be better to get new ones anyways. have tried a repco and they cant get it so where else would i be able to get them?? im in sutherland shire aswell..

dude, i doubt you will be able to get brand new ones, even if you could would you rather spend a extra $100 or so or then about $30 on bushes.

i was told that supposevly (sp) i can get new ones from repco for 50 a peice. it was probably b.s anyway.i guess its second handies then!!

Have you tried calling Repco? I remember some company advertising rebushed and reconditioned arms. Maybe Fulcrum??

PM steroid chickens about them. He's a mate who has done the s13 conversion himself.
i know for a fact that he bought new LCA's for bugger all, pretty sure it was from repco.

He said he rang repco & was told by a moron that they weren't available....which is not to say that repco can't actually supply them. I'd suggest ringing a few repco stores. Half the time you wind up talking to some twit who doesn't even know what you are after.
Starni, guarranteed 100% that they are available though them. DRFT-86 & me can tell you that for a fact.
Just ring around man, sooner or later you'll speak with someone who can actually help you.

try rocking up in person too ay and see if u can get part numbers aswell and tell them that you know of sum people off the internet who got them so it must be true http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/crazy.gif haha
sero tho ring up a few places and even rock up in person with part numbers, best way i can think of atm..

Engadine auto spares (I think its called) near maccas has noltec which do brand new ones ..I got a brochure there a few weeks back .

i purchesed them brand new from repco!
they are in my car as we speak.
try erina store, central coast, nsw. call telstra call conect. the guy from there will post them.
also bursons auto parts had them for a bit more expansive...... dont be lazy get on the blower!!
i have a second hand left LCA you can have for $50. you just need a right. the left is the hardest to get too, coz spastics in silvias always hit gutters on the left hand side, haha

lol thanks everyone!! i went to repco at taren point and the guy there asked me what i wanted about 20 times and i had to keep repeating "silvia s13 lower control arm" and had to explain what they were. and my mum and dad work at engadine so i will get dad to sus it out if i cant get up there. but thanks for the help!!!! much appreciated http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

went threw the same crap when i was lookin for new ones. repco people couldnt find them in their catalogues.
ended up finding them at bursons. havent bought them but heres a part number to go with that they told me:
BJ510Rarm
BJ511Larm
that basically the ball joint and the arm (lca) attached to it.

do you reckon repco at sutherland?? or repco at taren point? i really need to get the control arms. every time i see a s13 that looks like a pos i always think "go back at night and steal their conrol arms" http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif but i havnt which is good. well i have parts numbers from sly so i will ring both repcos in my area this afternoon. and maybe erina store aswell
