I was wondering if i could get help on why/whynot i should get an ae111 halfcut for my 20v conversion into my 86 . Like can i adapt the brakes to fit and is there any reason to stay away from an auto donor. any information would be much appreciated.

well theres a few things in the way
- cooling system requires some serious work, see the link in my sig
- a custom ignition is needed
- would need a different intake
- costs heaps more than an ae101 front cut but not much more power at all
list goes on
how much can you do yourself and how much have u seen this front cut advertised for?

Enigma, if its a super strut setup on the front, id buy that off you. Wouldnt it be a waste of time customising the brakes to fit?? Ive never heard of this done before

I just gone through all this and i suggest stuffing of the half cut and just getting an engine package. The half cut is to much hassle. I have all the left over parts and no where to put them, and no one wants to buy the parts either, so you will not be able to make money that way.
PS. if anyone want AE101 head light PM me

Is there problems converting the auto to a manual, as the flywheel is different, and if i remember correctly the ECU makes it fuck up... i could be wrong as ive had quite a few beers http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif
