you do realise they arnt bolt in rite?

unless they are diffrent ones you need to heavly reinforce the shock mounts..

the metal around the shock mount isnt strong enough to take a coil over application, since all the load would be on the one area ( spring and shock) the shell was never designed for it from stock as it had normal spring and shock setup.

you need to strengthen the area around hte mount.. not sure on the specs u would need, ask a performance shop take ya car in there let them have a look. or ask an rta approoved engineer as it will need to be passed by them anyway...

if your going to go an ae86 coilover setup, u would wait for HSD to release their ae86 coilover range. yes they are bringing them out i emailed them about a month ago and they said that they were in the process of making them...

Racing logics have a full coilover setup for the 86, prob fit a 70 hey?

How do you guys reckon i should strenghten it? Its only a track warrior for now so yeah.

For drift, but if i can get a good spring rate and some good shockies then ill be happy with that if this coilover thing doesnt work out.

Its perfectly safe, i only know of 1 person having troubles and i doubt anyone here has plans on getting 1m+ air in their car?

Heaps of cars run these without reinforcement, they are just bolt in.

Well after seeing the price of them go up in 1 day i think im just going to go for a spring set up in the rear and S13 coilovers in the front.
