Anyone have a Recaro

Anyone here have a recaro recliner type seat in their 86? Where did you get the seat rail from?
If you use a modified seat rail have you got any pics?

have u got the seat already?> wats the centres for the holes left to right under the seat?

jsut weld on two bits of flat bar accross the stock rails.. thats how i mounted all sparco's but maybe they have different centres in which case you'd just weld on another bit and bolt on a spacer... nothing $40 cant fix..

i have a recaro out of an evo lancer in my 86, bought autotechinca universal rails from repco (about $55) take the feet of your standard rails and bolt them into the feet hole on the new rails. then drill two extra seat bolt hole in the rail, bolt it all together and throw it in. took me bout hour n half start to finish. and oh its good.

thanks for all the reply and pic, I got some idea of what to do now. The only worry I have about using the standard rail is it may not be strong enough because the recaro I have is quite heavy (its an electric adjustable one). I'll have a closer look on the weekend.
