Boss kit question. help please

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a boss kit off one of our site's sponsors and i need to confirm that:

Ques:If a boss kit fits an ae86, will it fit a 81mdl ke70?

I'm pretty certain that the spline will be the same but i'm more concerned about the indicators not cancelling and that sort of thing..

The Toyota boss kit to suit AE86's fits just about every other toyota made around that time...
