s13 sr20 silver top mods to do

hey guys
Was just wondering what type of mods should one do to a silvertop sr20, and what have people done and on what type of budget.
I have a budget of no more than 5 Thousand just to spend on the motor itself, and reliase this would be easy to accomplish more power if i were to get a DET but being on p plates i cant so im stuck with a N/A. So what have YOU done and in what configureation, with what sort of results????

man get a haltech computer an get it tuned and extractors if you dont already have them, both of these will make a fair difference

instead of spending 5k on the engine....do the basics, extractors/intake/exhaust and spend the rest of the money on suspension, diff, brakes etc

learn to drive before u go hunting for power.....
