iv got a 86 with gze exhaust front mount and standard boost(will up the psi after its on the road) hopefully should have a 212mm flywheel so what clutch have you guys found works well? i intend to drift it wonce set up

go to the exedy website and have a look at padded button clutchs i think there called, there really good dad has one on his rally car and works a treat never slips or has any dramas, the heavier you go though the less street driveable and button clutchs dont like being slipped at all

Yeah had an NPC 4 puck carbonic, was around the $350 mark. Just make sure you get some decent pressure on it.

where do i get them from? what pressure plate would be best? dont really want a button either

Give them a call and talk to Nick. They should be able to sort out a combo best for you. I only had 1600lbs pressure plate the first time and it didnt last. Most guys are using up around 2400-2600lbs. But that depends on your driving style / gearbox strength.

getting a chromemoly flywheel and a 4 puck organic clutch from Just Half Steppin. not shaw about the pressure plate ill have to ask tomorrow

Im running a 3 puck brass button with 2000lbs preessure plate or so behind my JDM 16v... using because I got it cheap and needed it a.sap definatley dosnt slip, grabs like all shit and is quite jerky and stall prone if not used to it... I drive it everyday and hack it.. spesh with the welded diff..

had an exedy extreme HD before and that gave no problems with lots of thrashing over 3-4 years..
