Tryin to work out if i have a bigport or smallport engine, the info the guy i baught it off gave me is: 4age 100kw (ae92 / 16v), any easy way to tell??

sounds like a smallport... they have ribs along the top of the plenum and no TVIS badge on the top. bigports have this badge.

ae92 has the small port 100kw motor
ae82/ae86 has the bigport 86/96kw motor
etc etc

"100kw" means small port
"86kw" or there abouts means bigport
(Alot of early AE92s in Japan had bigport).

88-89 ae92's were bigport, just like the ae86. Later they went to the hi comp small port. Dont quote me on that
