Reverse lights

Hi all, reverse lights have stopped working as of today, and i go in for my full inspection...today.

The globes are not blown, i have tried them in the indicators and they work fine, all wiring connections are clean and connected properly.

The output off the gearbox seems to be secure, but I traced this cable and it led to the back of the dash through the firewall. Unsure of why it leads there but anyhow...

1983 EWD page 44 is how it looks in an AE86. AE71 would be similar though obviously not the same. Get your multimeter out and start checking

one more thing off my list to do for my defect aswell

thanks anyway, but already been and cleared!!!11 dude just wrote it down as a formal warning on a defect notice so i have to get it fixed in the next few weeks. turns out is was the connection at the gearbox, the terminals are rooted.
