does a 4k or 4ac alternator fit onto a 4age??? cuz i cant find one for my 4a,
let me know asap

Anything will fit if you modify it to..

Easiest staying with what the engine came with..

4ac alternators are different to 4age alternators, I think someone around the traps somewhere might have got one to work, but I may be mistaken. Your best bet if you can't find a 4age one is to source a 4agze one, I'll be using one on my Smallport 4age once it's running.

I'm not sure where you live or where you've been looking, but here in Sydney I've found heaps of gze alternators and quite a few 4age ones at wreckers. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tup.gif

yeah in brissy QLD, so if anyone has one let me know asap, got it in the wanted section but i dont think that section gets much attention.

4A-C alternators are externally regulated, Which means you will have to wire up the reg.

4A-G(Z)E alternators are internally regulated, Much easier to wire in..
