Hey all,
i have been talking to a few people and have came to the conclusion that i should get an lsd diff.
however, i dont really have the money to go a t-18 or jap spec at the moment.....
is there any other way of getting an lsd in a adm diff? i dont want to go down the locker road.....
i have a mate who had a wrx lsd diff centre in his datto 1600? can i do such a thing?
if anyone has done something similar or knows someone who succesfully fitted an lsd into there diff it would be a great help. i know it wont last me forever but it would be good enough and give me more control.
cheers.

It would seam a few non-Toyota Japanese manufactures have banded together to create some diff standards for Jap cars. These are the R160, R180, R200, R230 etc diffs. I assume the R160 has roughly a 160mm diameter crown wheel. The R200 diff in many Silvias and Skylines (about 200mm ~ 8") would be equivalent in strength to the Toyota 8" diff.
This is why you can get a R180 diff centre from a Subaru and put into a nissan etc.
But Toyotas are on their own. Toyotas mostly have a Toyota brand diff.
