Very nice! I'd quite like to build a 12A PP or 13B PP KE70, I reckon it would be a pisser.

The best, maybe not but it's all a matter of opinion.

Respect to J.R. for going against the grain and trying something different! 4AG has limited potential even if it is 250hp... Anyone that sticks a 3SGE, 1JZ, 2JZ, CA18, SR20, F20C 13B or even an LS1 in a AE86 should get props

You, my friend, need to be banned.

Why do something different when its been done before and its shit...? I'd give the person props for being a loser and wasting their money.

banned? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wtf.gif whatever, why build and drive a car exactly like everyone else? It may not always work or be dramas along the way - but at least it makes it interesting. ditto wooley - it ain't your cash...

What a fucking narrow minded point of view.

isn't induviduality the best thing in life? being able to do what you want?

manufacturer purity is fine for some people, but not for others. I bet if you ever drove a properly converted sr20 in an 86, you'd shut your trap pretty fast.

and, what if it's been done before, and isn't shit? like s13 front ends?

you get the point.

the intake on that rotary is sick. they're so compact, awesome

I see all these rotary powered corolla's getting so much attenion(from more groups then just the '86 communities) and one thing always comes to mind...

Whats wrong with the first gen rx7's? Those things rock!
http://project.r.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/sa001.jpg.w300h225.jpg

I say this not because I'm a purist or anything, I just dont see why those wonderful little cars are utterly ignored by so many. At least here in the US...

My point was, go and put a heavy, cast iron, 6 cylinder motor in an 86, drive it round the hills and track then tell me it didn't just ruin the car.....let alone a V8......

Rotary, i have no problem with, that thing is sick....but really, only light weight or 4 cylinder motors should be in an 86....thats the point i was trying to get across http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif

Nothing wrong with s13 sus, its proven to be a good conversion.

yeah its due to crappy javascript, they set it up so it loads large images theyve just made them resize to fit the space they have.

"open image" or "show image" or "save image as" will load larger ones
