Here is my boss today. At a very rare moment I wasn't working hard enough so he had to don the overalls himself. Still didn't keep him off the phone. He was probably ringing around to see if there was anyone left that hadn't yet seen his peice of rust Porsche 912. Very early Porsche, LHD from America. 4cy 912 which is all rust. Its up the back of the workshop, he shows everyone.

"Yeah mate look, we have been flat out. Didn't get to look at your car, Jon is very slow. Can you call us tomorrow? And I have something to show you."

The Porsche in the pic is a 70's 911 Targa top of course, also LHD. The 912 is further up.

Was gonna say, until I read the second post, your boss is trippin ballz if he thinks that's a 912. The Mechanic I sometimes use also has one, only his is immaculate, and he parks it out front for all to see.

The cars in the pic have no relivence. We often have 4 or 5 Porsches in on any day. Plus weird cars you would not normaly see on the road. Old Jags, lots of Mercs, MG, Bentley etc. Plus the odd drift Skyline and everything else.

I think it really depends what the school and teachers are like where you go. The first school I went to had lots of issues and there were lots of nasty people, then i got transfered to another school where the boss was a bitch and the teachers were really nice and stayed there.
You don't need to know Chinese but it definitly helps to be able to buy stuff and go places. I was there for 6 months and ended up spending more to get there than what I saved but if I had saved a bit harder and spent longer there it would've been different. You get around $1000AU a month but the cost of living is a lot cheaper so you're a bit like a wealthy guy over there. All the CHinese teachers earned like 1/5 - 2/5ths of what I was getting.
And last, don't trust your boss. They're polite and friendly to your face but they'll lie through their teeth and stab you in the back.
