Japanese model 86 speedo cluster

hey all
wiring my car with uncut jap engine loom and have the jap speedo
just wanted to know if anyone knows where i should attach the wire for the engine light as this isnt on the aussie dash and i want to wire it up http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

My guess is that you don't have to rewire anything. You say you have the jap wiring loom and speedo cluster. I am guessing you have the Toyota ECU also. So what is the problem? It should all just work. The 1 wire for the engine light will be in with the harness somewhere, and part of the plugs. What is it you need to do?

I gather he only has the engine loom and not the dash or charging/light loom.

Download the various manuals you will find as stickys in tech docs as you will need to modify/add to your under dash loom for a few things to make it all work properly.
