yes, they are a bitch to find a tuner for. Also alot of them came in a specified language. ie. jap for japan...

Also, does anyone know of a stand alone ECU that will plug into blacktop AE111 plugs?

try emailing TRD. They are the ONLY perfomance company ive noted who make ae111 parts so far.

nobody in australia does Freedom tuning

ecu interface is written in japanese, as is the manual and MAP software

you'll have to get it mapped in japan, which will be a hard task/waste of time

better off getting something locally, just as good but without the bling blong/different language status
