Does anybody know what the item highlighted in the pic is for?!

I'm pretty sure thats the keyway for the crank. you need that so the pulley doesnt spin on the crank

it's either that, or the new timing marker

it's new timing mark, the ones I've seen go on the sump bolts directly under pulley.

u have 2 cut off the existing timing point aswell thats the new 1
