yes,

get some vice grips or something of the sort, fold the lip up and out depending on how big you want it you may need a hammer.. strip off the paint, bog it, sand it smooth and get the lines you want. prime then paint and its all done.

altenately you maybe able to use a guard roller, i have not used these personaly and perfure hand flared gurads as i need them a larger size.

Some advice: Don't flare the gaurds on your KE30. It will make you look like a bogan. There is heaps of room in the back of a KE30 for any tyres anyway. If your front tyres are sensible, 185/60/14, there is enough room also. If you have longer lower control arms and/or 195 or 205 tyres, you will need to roll the front gaurds. You only have to do this very gently, drag the hammer HANDLE between the top of the tyre and the gaurd.

Hey mate, a good move to get a hammer, a dolly and take the guard off to do the work. (front guard)
ive found using a rubber mallet is better than a normal hammer, but others will disagree. Basically you knock the lip out a bit at a time till its almost flush, and id assume it wouldnt be perfect, so look into getting a small smear of bog over it.

Also a good to move be to have some primer and if at all, standard paint handy as it will flake a bit

Hope that helps mate, and welcome to the site

Lol, sanding bog with water.. YOU LOSE! Have fun doing it again in the future :)

Note: Bog soaks in teh water, causing the rusts, and the cracking and the bubbling and the, ow noes, i got the rust

Just for the sake of showing, both these guards on my ae71 were done using the exact process i explained above.
It gets pretty easy... however if you have good paint you really either have to respray the guard or be prepared for it to not be really perfect.

This is just backyard job too so im not saying its a great way of doing it, but it gets the job done while still look quite good.
