hey all,

just an idea, how about checkin out what sort of old stuff we are all packing
in regards to memorabilia.

I've started off with a pic of a trophy which belonged to my pop's dad.

little is know about the racing involved but the inscription is:
"THE SUPREME DRIVER OF THE DAY, Bowen's Silver Jubilee, Brands Hatch, 29th september 1938"

My ex's dad and family friend both have old trophies (not 1938 old though), heaps of them, but being an ex now, I cant get photos.. All rally ones from like mostly the 60's/70's..

i had an original commercial TV (can't remember the channel) of the 1967 equivlalant of bathurst (hardie ferodo 500??) dunno it was the debut of the HT monaro or someshit, racing against minis and falcons, alfas etc.

was sealed in the canister still

also a lot of old holden sales packages, sealed, of the LC and LJ Torana, XU1 etc.

all mint condition un opened.

found it all at my old work when i was a first year and had to clean out the original upstairs offices.

sold it all to a private collector for a tidy sum :P
