zenki = early term
kouki = late term(basically facelift)

ADM AE86 made in Japan(so fully imported)

ADM AE86 is basically to SE JDM spec but with 4ac not 3ac.

Zenki and Kouki(前鬼 & 後鬼; Literally meaning Front and Rear) are two Shikigamis, once caught by Asakura Hao in his first life, and later fell under the control of Kyōyama Anna.

body is same, lights are different depending on what year make they were etc... interior is a bit more nicer to look at in JDM since they already replaced all the dirty/torn bits with brand new stuff

google image and u can already tell the difference from ADM to jdm standard

no difference if u plan on modding the car to your fullest potential, adm or jdm, same shit, jdm less headache due to 4age already, adm will be cheaper to start with though, ae86 is ae86

JDM have different windscreens as opposed to the ADM models.

Kouki and Zenki have different T Series only real different being the axels Interior is different and face lift as already pointed out. There was also more options listed.

If you check that 86 blog. (HRblog) i did a detail history on the 86s and it also points out the diffrences between the zenki, kouki and ADM including the SR models and so on.

there is also alot of info on this site about it and so on.

As far as the numbers go, all twincam spec windscreans are either the same or interchangable. It is not a kouki thing. The 4A-C/3A-U specs ones are different in some way, not sure how.

Some are 5mm thick, some 5.3mm. Apex ones are bronzed. Some have tint at the top. Australian ones are 5.3mm thick with the top tint.

Aren't all the shells the same. Why would the windscreens be a different height if the shells the same??, makes no sense at all

Frak

whats else are the differs apart from the height of those windshields??

ZENKI = early
KOUKI = latter

theres also CHOUKI = midway, for those who have both parts of the early and latter eg: red line tail lights on a adm sprinter

As most of us know... the main determining factors of the parts group any AE86 has are:

early vs late. (generally before or after May '85)
3 door vs 2 door (obvious)
Corolla Levin vs Sprinter Trueno vs Sprinter vs Corolla GT vs Corolla SR-5/GT-S
4A-GE spec vs 3A-U/4A-C spec
plus Lime, SE, SR, GT, GTV, Apex, Black Limited etc...

So "JDM" means very little, considering most parts your talking about are also in North America and Europe. When people on the forumz talk about a "JDM" model, they are really talking about a GT Apex.

The biggest differences are between 3A-U or 4A-C spec cars vs 4A-GEU spec cars. The body shell is the same, but almost every other part is difference, and we are not going to list them all.

For early/late differences, it's mostly lights and grilles and interior trim and rear axles. Plus literally hundreds of minor updates, but most parts swap over.
