hey all,
i have converted my ae71 4a-C to a 4A-GE JDM bluetop.
I have a VL high pressure external pump ready to install... is this the only pump i need, or will i absolutely require a secondary pump? I'm unsure if the VL pump is substantial for what i need (note: i am not using swirl pot)
thanks all. all comments much appreciated.

it would be recommended to have a small lift pump, to feed to the vl pump coz they suck at sucking

im not sure on wat specs on the lift pump but im using a low pressure high volume one,

ok, so if i have the VL pump near the tank, a smaller external pump with more sucking power should be installed closer to the tank? the VL pump just won't do on it's own?

it will, but fuel surge will occur more frequently, yeh best bet is get a small universal pump and chuck it in the lines, with a small carby fuel filter before it, and then the vl pump, then a bigger efi filter,

or once i saw someone get a vl intank lift pump and put that into the ke70 tank, which feeds to the external pump
