im very disapointed by this!

im not pointing fingers or accusing anyone

jdmcoupe is most likely doing it or somone loged in to a mods account and is changing it

i would like this to stop its not acceptable nics site owner well do somthing about it

editing posts is another this that isnt cool

the problem with your theory of it being a member with incorrect rights is that nick would be able to see it in his admin thing, who's in which group etc (plus there would be someone showing up with "Moderator" or "Admin" and coloured writing under their avatar.

its gotta be someone who's supposed to have the privelages.

the only real way to find out is to go through EVERY members profile and see who has what permissions

yes but it shows up under the forum headings which regular members have rights in those forums doesn't it? eg slydar in tech discussions

the permissions thing is different

basically every member is assigned a primary and secondary group

you can be in the members group and have your secondary group as admin, you will appear as a regular user but have the access of an administrator.

you would have to check EVERY profile to ensure the permissions are set correctly

(thats my understanding anyway)

Maybe pick a handful (5 or so) trusted members, and get them to start going through EVERY member, all asigned certain letters of the alphabet to do.

With this being said... I'd only assume that it IS in fact a reg member with ADMIN access. No MODERATOR could delete an account.
